AM it's easy to forget about the TG01 nowadays, but keep in mind that Toshiba WinMo beast last year was the first phone of production in the world to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon Silicon. Oh, and it was under 10 mm thick and featured a 4. 1-inch WVGA display at a time when such specs in fact science fiction were so you have to give credit where credit is due. Anyway, the phone far from obsolete--aside from that little WinMo editing, that is to say, so that the good folks at xda-developers have begun the long tradition of Android on transplanting. Important stuff still does not work (the lack of power is a big one for us, personally), but we're guessing it's just a matter of time before we now have a solid, usable to build in the wild. HD2, watch your back!
